How big is the Hiace cargo area?
Listings for the 2025 and 2023 Hiace give a cargo volume of 9,300 L for the largest van body. Body length across the range runs from 4,695 to 5,915 mm, widths from 1,680 to 1,950 mm, and the 2025 range reaches heights of 2,280 mm.
What are the towing figures?
The listings show a towing capacity of 400 kg unbraked and 1,900 kg braked. These are Australian-market figures, and export units may differ.
Why is payload missing?
Payload depends on the exact body, axle and equipment, so a range can mislead. We give the figure per unit at quotation. Please ask for it in writing.
How do you choose the right body?
Match the body to your load.
- Measure your largest regular item and compare it with the cargo area
- Check the roof height against your garages and loading docks
- Pick the passenger or commercial layout for your use
- Ask for the unit's payload and gross vehicle weight
Send us your cargo dimensions and we will match a Hiace body.
